Students are able to interpret visual representations of ideas and describe their possible meanings.
An Introduction to Logos
Logos are symbols that organizations or individuals use to represent themselves.  A good logo can communicate a lot about a person or organization - this lesson introduces the concept of a logo and some case studies to determine the aspects of an effective logo.

Creating Your Personal Symbol
This lesson walks students through the process of identifying different important aspects of their own identity to use as inspiration for creating a personal symbol (or logo).

INtro to Sketch to Stretch
One way to practice our communication and creative thinking skills is to do something called a "Sketch to Stretch."  This lesson introduces students to how to create a "Sketch to Stretch" - ending with the creation of one on "Emptying the Cup."  ​
