HS Proficiency: Basic Coping Skills

Help yourself manage your emotions in times of stress by selecting and practicing some Coping Skills.

Directions:

  1. Work through each slide in the presentation below (make sure to watch the videos, where relevant).
  2. Respond to the prompts in your guiding worksheet (make sure you complete and keep this, as this will be evidence for earning your proficiency later on).
  3. Follow the prompts to practice your selected Coping Skills.
  4. Demonstrate your selected Coping Skills to your teacher during your next spot-check for credit (and to move on in your Proficiency Flowchart).
